For new books, we discount at least 20% off cover price on titles obtained from publishers and wholesalers. Additional discounts are available to educators [see below].
Most pre-read titles are discounted at least 50% off the original retail price.

Store Credit For Used Books
WE DO NOT PAY CASH FOR BOOKS.
You will receive a store credit of at least 10% of the cover price when you bring in pre-read paperback books in good condition.
We accept hardcovers at a flat rate of $1.00 store credit per copy.
Store credit may be used as 50% of your purchase of pre-read titles; the other 50% can be paid with cash, check, or credit/debit card.
Store credit may NOT be applied
towards new books or non-book items.
New Books and Special Orders
We are happy to take special orders for new copies of books that are not currently in stock, and offer a discount of at least 20% on titles obtained from publishers and wholesalers.
We keep "want lists" for pre-read titles that may be temporarily out of stock, and we will happily do out-of-print searches for you.
Educator's Discount
We offer an additional 10% discount on pre-read and new books to teachers of students from kindergarten through 12th grade, as well as to college and university staff, with proper ID. Please provide a current paystub or your Massachusetts Teacher Association card at time of purchase.
We also can order titles in bulk quantities for classroom use.
Educator discounts do not apply
to non-book items.
